Duracool Coatings Inc. manufactures the highest quality 100% acrylic elastomeric roof coatings and roofing products. Our knowledge and expertise of over 30 years with roof coatings sets us apart from traditional commercial roofing companies. We also carry exclusive products you won't find anywhere else.
Roof coating and commercial roofing are two very different industries. Not all commercial roofing companies can properly install roof coating systems. We have installed millions of square feet and are certified by major roof coating manufacturers.
1980s
Our First Service
From the late 80's to the early 2000's, Duracool Coatings Inc. primarily coated chicken houses on farms to control the amount of heat in the houses themselves. "The temperature in a chicken house is crucial to the survival of all the chickens. Typically, in the summer months, farmers' A/C bills would be through the roof! That's where Duracool Coatings came in.
Our coatings were not only designed to combat heat absorbed by farmers’ roofs, which would in turn lower their energy bills, but to also provide a cheaper alternative to a full roof replacement. Our coatings were a huge hit, and the rest is history! I'll never forget my first job in our humble beginnings working out of a small pickup truck, a Speeflow (now known as Titan) paint sprayer, and just some buckets.". - Richard Morgan, Owner When the job was finished, the farmer approached Richard and told him, "Chicken farmers...we go through a lot of money. We don't get to keep a whole lot of it. Thanks to your coating, I've saved over $200,000, and my chickens stay cool." Since then, Duracool Coatings was seen as beneficial not just for farmers, but for commercial building owners as well.

2014
The New Generation
Richard Morgan became president of Duracool Coatings Inc in 2014, following in his father's footsteps, Bill Morgan. He worked for the company at the age of 21 and has overseen business development, quality assurance, job safety, and financial management. Over 30 years in the commercial roofing industry, he still prides himself on his ability to provide each customer with exceptional quality and service. He has a strong background in positions which require experienced operation and project management, as well as a strong attention to detail. Richard has a profound knowledge of concepts, competitive products, and processes dealing with the roofing market. Richard excels at building highly effective working relationships with clients, technicians, managers, and vendors. His aspirations are being "the best", making his father proud, and carrying on the family business of Duracool Coatings Inc.
