Duracool 1
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: DURACOOL I is a white mastic coating, made with superior elastomeric acrylic polymers. The product contains strong rust inhibitors, which makes it very suitable for application on metal roofs with varying degrees of rust.
RECOMMENDED USES: Primarily designed for uses on metal surfaces.
PRODUCT FEATURES: Water based coating makes to easy to use, easy clean-up, non-toxic, VOC compliant, non-flammable. Excellent adhesion to various metal substrates. Highly flexible, even at low temperatures. Will not crack, peel or flake over the life of the product. Contains a strong mildewcide / fungicide. Contains strong rust inhibitive pigments. Reflects 90% of the heat and UV rays from the sun. Excellent reflective properties reduce cooling costs.
SURFACE PREPARATION: All surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free of oil, grease, or dirt. High-pressure water washing with DURACOOL ROOF WASH is suggested. Previously present coating must be checked for good adhesion. Any loosely adhering coating must be removed and bare surface must be prepared and cleaned and checked for compatibility, before coating.
